Referrals

You do not need a referral from a health professional to access services, if you wish to self-refer please contact to make an appointment. 

Some private health funds do offer a rebate so please check with your individual provider if you may be eligible. 

To claim a Medicare rebate you must have a valid Mental Health Care Plan from your GP. If you are referred under a Mental Health Care Plan you will be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $81.90 per session.

Private Health Insurance
Standard session (55 mins) 
$190.00 – check rebate with individual provider

Please note: We will provide you with a payment receipt however it is your responsibility to contact your private health insurer to make a claim. To avoid disappointment please check your private health insurance covers services offered by Accredited Mental Health Social Workers. 

Cancellation policy 

We are committed to providing a quality service to as many clients as possible. As there may be others on a waitlist it is essential to provide adequate notice of a cancellation. 

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so within a minimum of 48 hours prior to your appointment. Failure to contact within the 48 hour time frame to cancel or reschedule your appointment will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
